Sean Bell

I don't know the facts, but there has to be something wrong when you empty a whole clip at someone who isn't shooting back. Or really, even when you fire 17 bullets at a number of targets you can count up to on one hand. I'm pretty sure thats not what they teach you about how to use a gun. It could just be incompetence, but that doesn't really make me feel that much better.

Yeah, I'm wondering what the judge was on when he acquitted all three officers of all charges on this one. Given the level of public outcry on this decision... well, you'd think he would have been smarter about it.

It's deeply unsettling to think about how much a person can get away with under the current judicial system. I don't know what was going on in the officers' minds when they were firing those shots, but it definitely should not take 50 bullets to stop a car. And even if they didn't mean to kill him, that doesn't make things okay.
